Objects, events, measurements and FACTS are modes of human perception, not attributes of the universe. – Deepak Chopra
You’ve heard me quote Deepak on this before but it’s so relevant, and so counter intuitive to the way we were raised, it bears repeating.
Astro – Flash: Uranus has been hovering over the first degree of Aries for some time and is now smack on the fixed star Kerb, a sun in the constellation of the winged horse Pegasus. Think audacity, risk and daring to be different. This energy shouts rise above the obstacles! Are you listening?
Another favorite adage is ‘The Number One obstacle is thinking there are obstacles!’ We have to stop doing that. Period.
Our ‘job’ in life is to be happy, to find fulfilment and connect with the wonders and diversity of Mother Earth. It is not our job to be long suffering, work ourselves to the bone or to repress our creative, playful, mystical, carefree, wondrous side because we believe we have ‘responsibilities’ or must do what is ‘expected’.
Let’s all give ourselves permission to be you in all of who we are, in all our diversity. Let’s give ourselves permission to live the life of our dreams. Include everything; exclude nothing!
Have a one liner for the life of your dreams? I’d love to hear it!

Seeing showjumpers, horses jumping in general is just such a blast of love for me. My old part-Arab was an unwieldy jumper, always jumped too high, always got too excited about the ‘flying’ feeling so we didn’t jump too much. He is now my winged Pegasus–we made a pact to meet up again–my celestial transport.
Ideas about how horrible work is for most people and how completely unproductive this actually is for all concerned have been swirling around in my head as something that really needs to change for the world, starting with my world. I’ve been working on my attitudes–my buffers but I cannot get away from the feeling your job ‘description’ for us is spot on as compared to the master/slave dynamic that still governs employee/employer relationships. Maybe Neptune’s shift into Pisces will address this a bit.
Not sure if this will work.

I was absolutely blessed to have such a creature.
Oh!!! The chestnut? You’re a trick rider? Those images are fabulous. Thank you for sharing them here. I feel elated just looking at them! Thank you.
You are spot on thinking the place to start is within ourselves. As we make our inner world a better place to be, so it is reflected in the outer. I like the idea of Neptune’s shift into Pisces being one of greater compassion, awareness and love. Here’s to that!!!!
No trick rider, I think that link must have defaulted to the web album of photos.
(They were bloody brilliant though those young girls)

This might work.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! This is what I pictured when you first mentioned. I was surprised to see the chestnut because in my mind was this beautiful grey. Thank you for sharing. He’s so beautiful.
I think the two greatest obstacles for me are:
“what if…”
and
“if only…”
The greatest inspiration (to negate the obstacles) for me comes in seeing the success of others. Kim is an inspiration to me. KIM: Remember, our first interview? Followed by lengthy discussions on the Voyager blog about creativity and sentience, IDIC, etc.
The inspirational pieces I have pinned at my desk are from Anais Nin
and Marianne Williamson. Should I send copies?
Kind regards to all
Astrid.
Oh Astrid, I do remember that first interview! It was fantastic and still the best I’ve ever done because you asked ALL the right questions. You really GOT what I was saying in the series. Daring to be Different! Thank you!!!

I would love some quotes form Anais Nin and Williamson. Yes, please!

Hi Kim
I was going to come back and click on your environmental footprint quiz link when I had more time, and now I can’t find that post, can you point me to it please and thank you ? : ) xo
I didn’t recall myself! Searched ‘footprint’ and found it in A Force of Nature!

Thanks so much !
I took the test and fared about as well as I thought I would. I commute, work odd hours and have tried unsuccessfully to carpool. Otherwise, I don’t cool (basement in summer) and grow as much of my own food to preserve as possible. Definately could use better insulation, $ is a factor there, but instead I layer up in the colder months.
Thanks so much for finding the link, I will share it !
Enjoy your day xo ~
My pleasure. It’s such a good reminder and guide. Just giving thought to these things is the path to making improvements. Same here with rugging up in winter. My trees have grown so that they offer insulation from heat in summer too. Love that you grow your own food!
