Do you have an accurate birth time? You need that to nail the houses but having Sun in your Moon sign is your personal new moon for the year. Set NEW intentions about what you want to be, express, experience!

OOo! I thought you were Pisces rising, I don’t know why I thought that! Btw I was looking for the 12th house as mine starts in Aqua and then goes into Pisces up until 23 degrees, which kicks off the 1st house. So would I read for the 12th only?

12th house is up there now. What you do is watch the progress of the Sun (a degree a day approx) and while it is in the degrees before your Ascendant (say you are 15 Pisces rising then from 0 – 15, about Feb 19 – March 5) Sun is in Pisces in your 12th and then it crosses your Ascendant (whatever degree that is – xx degrees xx’ minutes) and then you read in the first. People will notice that moment when the sun crosses the Asc! It really is like a sunrise!
What degree is your Asc? I can check the date it crosses into the 1st.

Bingo! And you are right.
Pisces begins halfway into your 2nd house (developing talents and resources, changing core values) and then moves into the 3rd at 17 Pisces, which we see in the ephemeris I printed for BG will be on the 7th of march (6-8th depending on where you are in the world).
So after the first week of March, the emphasis is on communication, the written or spoken word, pitching ideas, local neighborhood community and possibly sibling our cousin interactions. Does that fit in with your intentions?
This is quite interesting I will use this to help me time when i reach out to my half brother in Canada. We’ve been trying but never seem to know what to talk about.

Kim, I agree with Barista and reckon its pretty clear. My only two comments would be that people seem to at time not notice the house numbers, because they are looking at things on the outside, and that maybe an additional slide that was like a key of where the diff symbols are (with arrows and boxes etc) may in clarifying where to look for what type of symbol would clear that all up.
Man phone typing butchers language, it’s embarrassing…
I get the picture, Shell. I could break it down further with the house numbers clearly indicated so we see each piece of pie and then the houses with the signs on the cusps. When teaching this ‘live’ it’s a lot easier to explain. I’ll work on the tut though. Slow it down and show a bit more.

Take your time getting to know your chart Bec. I started learning 3 years ago and I am still learning! All we have to do is commit to being the student and opening our minds to learn this wonderful phenomena.
And whats that saying about when you’re ready to learn your teacher will appear?
We are so lucky to have wonderful teachers like Kimmy to appear and help us but we have to do some work as well. Just don’t forget you’re not alone in the classroom and we can help one another along the way!

Pisces rules my 8th and is home to my moon, which is aspected by Neptune and Jupiter.
But the sun will remain in my 7th for a bit, my vertex is early Pisces though.
Could do with some magic in both 7th and 8th house things with both Mars and Saturn (i have them both rising) retro it feels like the gleaming opportunities have ground to a halt. At least I’m going to blame then anyway.
The sun in the 7th and 8th will shine some light in those areas of life. Let me know if you have a Vertex epiphany or connection of some kind. Is Chiron on your Vertex?
Mars Rx has been quite the trickster in Virgo! I really wasn’t expecting the way the energy of Mercury ruled things has been touched. Makes sense! Might be some clarity when Mars and Sun are opposite, 3-4th of March +- a day . . .
Chiron conj has been and gone, and I was watching/hoping for an epiphany but alas there was none – or not that I noticed anyway, it did occur at the end of a very busy and stressful time.
Perhaps the sun will shed some light on that!
If Virgo rules bureaucracy then I am defn blaming mars, though I hope things sort out before the retro ends.

Hi Tamela, your Pisces houses are the 1st and the 2nd. From now until Feb 29, the sun will be in Pisces in your first house, bringing a softer view to your outlook on life. You might feel more compassionate, maybe more willing to support others or help them in some way, and also a little less ‘fixed’ in your ideas about yourself and your goals in life. It’s easier to make changes right now because you are incline to ‘go with the flow’.
By March 1st the sun is in your 2nd house lighting up talents, resources and core values. It’s a good time to reassess what gives you a sense of meaning and purpose and how you express that in your life. You might get a new idea on how to earn money/support yourself/develop your talents. The more you ask, ‘what do I REALLY want, the better!
Darlin – you could have not been more spot on.. I am patent pending on an applicator of Liquids and creams.. making it germ free, singe use and Airline Safety requirment friendly.. That is my career change hopefully.. sadly.. my marriage.. is in turmoil.. At the stage were you don’t know to go or stay, I think of what Deepak Chopra says, ‘go with the choice that gives you the most peace.’ It might mean being with the contrasting feelings until you get clear.

Alice, for the last 5 days, the sun has been in your 7th house. It’ll be there for the next 27 days and then into the 8th.
One way of clarifying where the signs begin and end in your horoscope is to read the text box on the right of the astro.com generated chart (the one that begins under the list of planets sun-Chiron) There you will see AC, followed by a sign, then 2, then 3 and beneath 4, 5, 6. These are the exact degrees on the cusps of your 1st – 6th house. That is all that needs to be listed as the opposite signs are always on the opposite cusps so Ac 4 Virgo means the Dc or 7th house starts with 4 Pisces (the opposite house and sign to Virgo rising) Then you see you have 28 Virgo on the 2nd house which means the corresponding opposite sign of 28 Pisces is on the 8th. I’m going to redo the tutorial to explain these oppositions and how to more easily read the exact cusp degrees.
Meanwhile, the light of compassion shines on your house of personal relationships! Notice what feels like bliss there. Focus on that!

Hi Lisa, everybody has all 12 signs of the zodiac in their chart but sometimes a sign can be intercepted (I’ve blogs about this if you want to read more) and not reside on a house cusp. If you follow the tutorial and do up your chart at Astro.com, you can link it here (see some of the above comments where they’ve done this) and I can spot that illusive Pisces for you! It’s possible it is all contained within one house.
Remember to look for the opposing sign of Virgo. It will be in the exact opposite house(s). Let me know!
