Happy (nearly) new moon! Still dark for now – I’m doing major (for me) chill tomorrow!
(Nearly) Happy new moon!
I just did the meditation and man was that fascinating! I have to say firstly I have been meditating everyday for years now, but it is my words, to give thanks and to remember my folks who passed when I little and other loved ones who have passed since. Anyway, I often find meditations in the general sense a little challenging… Multiple conjunct Gemini with Mars in Virgo, would suggest I am a little fidgety to say the least.
But that was beautiful and I felt myself being swept away and had a wonderful connection with my dad! My mind wandered to him and where he was laid to rest and then he appeared by the gate, he took my hand and we walked over the bridge towards our home… It was like he was leading me away from there to happier memories at home.
I just kind of went with with it, but seriously can meditations really do that? Or did I fall asleep on my kitchen stool…
Meditation can most definitely do that! Wonderful!

Btw Kimmy, do your cats come and sit by you when you are meditating? My Leo man cat comes and sits behind me when I do my evening meditations, he actually falls asleep. I generally feed them after so you’d think he would be nudging me to hurry up… but he doesn’t. So cute!
Cats LOVE to sit near a meditating person. It’s like you are purring vibrationally and that soothes them. It soothes everything around you! When I learned TM (transcendental meditation) 40 years ago, my teacher told our group that if we had cats, be prepared. They love to meditate with you.
If that’s not a shout out for meditation, nothing is!

It works the other way too. The closest I can generally get to a meditation type zone is when I have my cat there purring in my ear. The ringing becomes a much more soothing purr.
Of course that relies on cooperation from a cat and thus can only be appreciated on her schedule.

The new moon is on my vertex and square my sun, and I am very much hoping will bring resolution on this fab career opportunity I have been waiting to hear about for ages, still.
The holding on to the dream thing has been tough, especially with this mars go slow action.
I’m hoping for the sakes of all who’ve had to listen to me go on about it that it all goes gangbusters soon
My tinnitus makes mediation pretty unpleasant, but I’ve been doing much lying on the couch staring vaguely at tree tops with cat, so I’ll join you with a bit more of that

On the Vertex is very interesting. Watch for action or synchronicity from 30 days ago + or – 3 days, and 30 days from now + or – 3. Lunations can work that way (making strange sense of time but they do!)
Oh tinnitus would be distracting even with guided meditation, but I love the tree top gazing with your cat! That’s bliss!

All these new moons have been lining up in aspect to my sun and asc, the last one was on my dsc, the next one will be on transiting Uranus right?
I think I’ve been pretty much in this ‘waiting’ lull since that last new moon. Getting a bit itchy, forced stasis is boring!

Just did today’s meditation and I loved that full identification with ego and the sense of letting it drift away and back and away. . . beautiful!

Sue, it can be like that! One giant step towards a goal and then the ‘OMG what have I done feeling . . .’ or just a kind of numb struck shock. Deep breaths! It’s pretty natural to have those reactions, like stage fright! It means you are on the right-for-you-path! (and you have to get used to the new vibe!!!)
