A Song of Spring by John Waterhouse

This is the week of the grand Earth trine with Venus/Jupiter in Taurus trine Mars Rx in Virgo (with 16 Psyche Rx and 433 Eros Rx) trine Pluto in Capricorn.  In a word, it’s copious.

From Etymology Online: Copia . . .”an abundance, ample supply, profusion, plenty.”

Think of the cornucopia, the giant basket that was filled with fresh food that never ran out. Whether it is wealth of love, work, play, production, artistry, family, insights or enlightenment you focus on, the grand Earth trine makes it ‘tangible.’ Think of the signs involved:

Venus and Jupiter in Taurus represent sensuality, persistence and steady, nurturing growth. The seed is planted in the rich earth. Germination.

Mars, Eros and Psyche in Virgo represent adaptability, fine details and the development of skills, understanding and connection. Flowers bloom and are shared.

Pluto in Capricorn represents determination towards success and the powerful intentions via ambition and vision. The harvest is gathered and celebrated.

The traditional reading of Jupiter to Pluto has always been ‘wealth’. Add to that the archetype of relationship that both Venus and Mars, Eros and Psyche portray and the idea of wealth turns to shared abundance. It’s a time to aim your sights high, appreciate Mother Earth and her bounty and share the dreams, vision and successes with those you love, or are learning to love. This is not an isolating aspect. It’s about connections and living life to the fullest.

By transit, Psyche together with Eros, Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Pluto can coincide with awareness and appreciation of the abundance we already have. From a state of appreciation (start with clean, running hot water and work up from there. Or even start with ‘I’m alive!’) we expand out into the world to discover the ‘copia’ all around us. It begins with a single thought, a state of mind. 

But it’s a tine . . .

Nobody’s forcing us to expand. We get to choose if we open to the flow, or not.
