Astro-Flash: A moment after the New Moon (see times below) Luna turns void of course. This marks a time to set your intentions and then utterly relax. Let go. The key phrase for the VOC moon is ‘nothing’. Nothing to worry about. Nothing to stress about. Just be. As you trust your goals and plans for the future, the momentum quietly builds.
Hint: Be in the present.
NEW MOON @26 CANCER
LA – Wednesday – 21:25
NY –Thursday – 00:25
LON – Thursday – 05:25
SYD – Thursday – 14:25
ARIES: This new moon portends less action, more reflection. There are some questions to ask. Are you in the romantic relationship of your dreams? If not, why not? Take time out to discover what peace means to you.
TAURUS: Your point of focus is towards home, family and emotional security. What ground do you stand on? Have you staked your claim? This is a time to choose your boundaries and stick to instincts and inspiration.
GEMINI: You’re ready to move forward with a new plan, project or goal but there’s a tiny quark in your way. Ask what it is that you believe about yourself and your future that wants adjusting. Tune in and turn some screws.
CANCER: This is your personal New Moon and a time to assess your basic goals around career and relationship. Have they grown and changed with your personal evolution? If not, the time has come. Refresh!
LEO: Your dreams have never been so full of promise as they are now! Fall into your imagination and visions. There you will find answers to every current consideration, challenge or dilemma. Cat naps bring epiphanies!
VIRGO: This New Moon asks that you reevaluate your goals for the future. It all begins in the present moment. Hung out there lately? Take some quiet time with a close friend and script your awakening desires. Don’t hold back!
LIBRA: This is a breakthrough time for your career, mission or profession. Think social identity on the rise! Tune into what you really want today, not what you were after a year ago. If you think they are the same, look again!
SCORPIO: This New Moon is going to take you places you’ve never been before. All you have to do is open your mind to fresh vistas and surprising landscapes. The fun thing is, you won’t be traveling along. Buckle up!
SAGITTARIUS: The New Moon in your solar 8th house intensifies experiences of intimacy, trust and risk. Don’t panic. This can be a revitalizing time where you discover new aspects of yourself. Previous experience not required.
CAPRICORN: Relationship status quo is going through metamorphosis. This is an opportunity for creative change that gets your love life more in alignment with your authentic self. Seriously, why resist such a gift?
AQUARIUS: Pesky health issues or daily routine snags are about to resolve beautifully, all on their own. This means you don’t have to micro-manage a thing. Your only task is to keep making choices that ring true, for you.
PISCES: The three C’s, children, creativity and comradery, influence your next lunar month. Use this time to get your thoughts straight about how you express, connect and mentor. Expect everything to fall into place!
Happy New Moon everyone!

Thank you Kim. I’m forced to the home focus with a hubby who’s going to need surgery soon and one or other boys down with man-flu…but above all, I find that it becomes a matter of work/home balance – not letting overtime or on call shifts leave me too depleted to cope the home stuff.
As for the “what ground I stand on” – that’s an interesting question. Edges are still blurred with resolving the pendulum swing of getting out of the church and defining the new reasons why I do or do not choose to do things or behave in certain ways. What I do for acceptance (emotional security that isn’t necessarily the “right” emotional security) can be at odds with who I ultimately want to be/am/project yet I seem not to be able to shift that until I come to terms with my shadows – which is right…and I didn’t mean to end up writing all of this here, but that’s how I function – I think with a pen or keyboard. Oh well – let it all hang out – maybe it will benefit someone in the end.
Thank you, Dragonwyst. Your thoughts are lucid and I’m sure I’m not the only one who can relate! Here’s to thinking with a pen/keyboard!
Goddess Kim, I had THE bestest morning having a meeting with myself, scripting all the new beginnings I intend for the next six months and writing down all my goals and strategies.
My question is … will I still tap into the energy of the New moon, or do I HAVE to be up at 25 past MIDNIGHT (way past my bedtime!) to make this all ‘stick’?
And thank you for the reminder to ‘just let it be’…. I was rather getting into a froth about how much I have to get done, even though I just know somehow I’m going to love doing it all.
Hey Jacqueline, I think I caught this on FB but no, you don’t have to set the alarm and redo. The universe has your vibe!
Relax and trust. It’s already done, and well done!
Great questions Jacqueline. I almost set my alarm. LOL!! I was sitting at my “desk” which is my kitchen table and just decided to right my intentions down right before going to bed. I left my list exactly where I wrote them so that I would pick them up in the morning to re-read and build more energy. Thanks for asking and Thanks Kim!
