These aren’t easy pastimes for the action-go-getter sign, but if you find ways to relax and float a while, you’ll be glad you did!
TAURUS: A lovely time with friends and the company of familiars has your mind a whirl. New goals, ideas and insights flood in and you are already putting them to good use, making plans and seeking out practical applications. Thanks Kim! I look forward to what might be coming up. Although right now we are in pre-Full Moon mode today was very challenging. My day ended with a threat from a lawyer who I have been working closely with for almost a year. He has been supporting me, speaking hightly of me but after speaking to a co-worker today who has been discrediting me since I joined the company, he sent me a threatening email.
There is a lot going on with career and romance since 2009. A snake skin release. Right now it has been extremely tense at work because of company issues (ie. can the owner keep the doors open). Since Pisces is in my 5th house I hope my romance will have good feedback. But my 10th house, career, is in Leo and Mercury is transiting it with my Moon in Leo. What could be going on that is causing my support to become so aggressive? Bad day for them? xo!!
Can you get a break from it all? The weekend is coming up. Is that free time for you? This is like the 4 of Swords in the Tarot where you just need to rest, recuperate and let all that worldly drama wash away for a bit. A romantic weekend, with a good novel, fine friends, fun exercise and recreation is what the Dr orders!

Also, after looking at my horoscope for Virgo.. I told my love interest a couple of weeks ago, after not seeing him in over 9 months, that I wanted him in my life. First time for me to be so direct but it came naturally. He was still upset about something I said and I think I cleared that up with him.. well, at least I hope. He needs time after these types of “connection talks”.. so I let him be!! He has been “posting” spiritual comments that I take personally.. it is hard for him and me as well.. but I hope we get connected again. It is truly a learning process for me and I would like to say for him too!! <3

A question however, re the virgo scope – full moon in my 7th. I understand you’re point re the difference in the framing of ‘i hope’ and ‘i choose’. At the same time however, given there’s also someone else is this situation, just because ‘i choose’ doesn’t meant ‘they choose’, isn’t’ there also a pretty thin line between assuming just because I want so do you … and then not allowing the space they rightly deserve to make that decision?
To me, ‘i hope’ seem to actually be “i hope you choose’

This is a really good question, Shell, and it comes up in Law of Attraction and astrology discussions all the time.
Let me ask you. Is it their 7th house, or yours?
The idea that we are dependent on others actions, opinions, beliefs and assertions is part of the maya. Aham bramasmi. I am the universe. Not ‘they’ are the universe.
We are getting very existential here and it will boil down to what you believe. We are raised to think there are actual separate people and things ‘out there’ on whom we are interacting.
A different perspective is we are all connected. We are all one. We are the consciousness of the universe reflecting on itself. Aham bramasmi. Your 7th house is not dependent on what they believe. It is dependent on you. It’s not ‘others’ tacked onto a part of you. It is YOU.
Law of attraction says like energy attracts like. If you believe ‘others’ in such and such a way, you will vibrate that energy and attract it. The energy doesn’t come to you first. You are the vibration. ‘Reality’ in this model is a reflection (a mirror) or your own vibration, an externalization of consciousness. In no other symbol in astrology do we see this so clearly as in the 7th house of ‘others’.
So yes, hope or state. Either one will be true. The 7th house is a place where we tend to lose perspective and give our power away. Today’s scope was a reminder that . . . well, aham bramasmi. I am the universe.
Just using the aham bramasmi mantra for a few days will begin to reveal this idea more and more.

Interesting. I will have to percolate on that a bit.
My mind is going to theories on how we cannot assume anything as an inanimate object – other people and things are all actants doing their stuff, we come together, create meaning in a moment and then continue on our with our trajectories. Of course I am still in control of my trajectory, and choose how to incorporate the meanings of those moments, and whether they alter my path. To feed your ideas into that I’m getting what you are asking is whether or not within that one is also spending time apologises to those they bump into, watching other trajectories disappearing off and wondering what they took from that encounter and trying to see if it alters their path etc. And something about attaching actions to subjects as objects.
At the same time other bits of me are going ‘but, but’ … flippy floppy pisces moon.
And funnily enough I’m almost repeating thesis theory/findings to you so best go channel into that.

This is a bit of a random aside – but have you ever come across the work of the geographer Doreen Massey? You may find it interesting. She’s all about the way spaces and times come to create meaning by our movements through them. For Space is an interesting read.

Love to know when you’re doing readings again…have wanted to get one all year but as soon as I was able to you were fully booked for August. Are you starting again in the spring or is it a longer period till you are doing readings again?
Also just want to say how much I love your writing, it is such a joy to read! If you ever wanted to give writing courses I’m sure you’d have them lining up…or is it hovering in cyber space?

Hi Fiona, Thank you so much for your lovely and supportive words! I’m not sure when I’ll do readings again. I’ve got a series project I am working on right now but there is another idea that’s taking shape that might be way better for everyone than actually doing readings. More on that as it unfolds.
I’ll announce here, and in my newsletter, when I’ll start up the readings again so keep an eye out. You’ll know when I know!
