Hi Everyone! I’m popping the Dailies up here while my kimfalconer.com server is ‘down’. Enjoy!
DAILY ASTRO-LOA FLASH: Asteroid 42 Isis into Sagittarius until late December 2012 brings a powerful feeling of ritual intention. Think reverence for all life. The more honor and respect you give to nature, to your body (your first contact with nature) the more you will feel the results: abundance, appreciation, compassion, fulfillment. It begins with a simple step, a non-judgmental thought. Practice this for the next fifty-four days and see your world open up beyond your wildest imagination. True!
What house(s) does Sagittarius occupy in your natal chart? What intentions are you setting there? Let us know in the comments.
Tips on the power of intention and some topics of discussion for anyone who wants to take this further. Enjoy!
Intention: Discuss what it is and why it’s important
NOTES: The properties of intention – from Path of the Stray
Janis was in the habit of achieving whatever she set out to do. Her background in the occult, as well as quantum physics and medical science, gave her an edge. The manipulation of reality by conscious intention was a well practised part of her life — deliberate creation, she called it. When she wanted a thing — a particular experience or outcome — she focused her thoughts on it, feeling what it would be like if she had it right in that moment, and before she knew it, she did. (Janis Richter on intention, page 46)

Her mind reached for the highest possible outcome. She was imagining it, expecting it, knowing it would be . . . (Janis seeks the JARROD consciousness, Page 66)
***
JARROD: The possibilities are so vast that if I started listing them today, you’d be an old woman before I was halfway through.’
JANIS: ‘Pot luck then.’
JARROD: ‘Or a powerfully focused intention. I suggest the latter.’ (On the infinite organizing power of intention, Page 98)

Because I say so. Janis to Luka (now that’s intention! pg 92)

‘There comes a time, Ruby, when letting go is all that’s left to do. Corsair has his own intention — had it all along — and I’m officially giving in to it. He wins. He’ll not be saddled again.’ (Ruby remembering Janis the last time she rode Corsair, page 606)
What’s An Intention?
An intention is simply the mental/verbal statement we make about an action, result or event. We have in mind want we want and then say it like it’s already a done deal. Think: I decide what happens next!
Example: This meeting is going to work out perfectly. I know they are going to appreciate everything I have to offer.
Without intention, we don’t have a focus or direction and things just seem to ‘happen’, or not, without our participation.
With an unconscious negative intention, we might be ‘intending’ for things to go in ways we don’t really want.
Example: This doesn’t have a chance in hell. We know it’s never going to work.
Negative or unconscious intentions can have a powerful effect on outcome. Becoming more aware can make a difference in how we say our life will be.
How you set intentions
1) How do you think about your day when you wake up?
2) Do you ‘see’ things as ‘going to be difficult/tricky/bad?’
3) Are there people/jobs/activities you think are challenging?
4) Are there people jobs/activities you think are fun?
5) Do you notice how your body feels when you start something new? 6) Do you KNOW how someone is going to react before they do?
Awareness and open mind
1) Start your day with appreciation
2) Set intentions to experience the day without judgments
3) Use positive self-talk when starting something new
4) Focus on what’s going right
5) Remember you have instant access to infinite possibilities
6) Tune in to the messages from your body. Habit or instinct?
7) Loosen up your ideas about how people may respond. Give them a chance to grow.

Great timing for this post Kim, though my brain a bit all over the place today properly focus on it, so I shall have to come back to it.
But early Sagg is still my 4th, my 5th starts mid way. And right now manifesting a positive outcome out of the house situation (which could also be viewed as very disruptive) is important to my mental health.
I don’t think I can focus on this right now, but am at least holding on to the positive outcome from a situation yesterday that I went into with barely restrained fury. I feel a bit like it may to be open to setting myself up for disappointment if I just go – right – grand plan will happen (too many grand plans have fizzled away this year already) – but at least appreciating small victories and moving from small victory to small belief is a start right?
ah somewhat garbled there…
Yes, appreciate small victories, and SEE the small victories in all situations! Mercury is Rx 4 Sagittarius to 18 Scorp, so your and my 4th house both! We shall compare notes!
Yes, we should. It is interesting in that the house thing means I can’t not be thinking about 4th house issues over the next month or so, and the way they shape the constant 10th house element of my world. Rather than just focus on the 10th without the 4th base. Of course with the Neptune square being pinged off and reactivating it’s difficult not to fear the kind of dissipating fuzz that seems to have effected much of the rest of my world all year. Scorp ruled 4th, I am very protective of my home space. Gotta get that taurean merc into constructing solid positive thoughts within that fuzz I guess.
I think instead of fuzz, conjure ‘faith’ in the future. It’s a kind of ‘higher octave to ‘fuzz’
I have a Pluto ruled 4th house cusp too, with Eros conjunct. V passionate about my home, my privacy and the inner transformations that take place there! I get that!
Ha yes, faith probably is a higher octave of fuzz.
Thanks Kim, you’re ace! xxo
Dear Kim, I see on my chart that I have Sagittarius falling in my 7th house (and 8th house). The interesting detail is that during the past few months my boyfriend and I have been having many discussions about our relationship and where we want to go ‘next’, together. We are moving in together at the end of December. I have been working on setting positive intentions for myself (and for both of us) so that this next stage is a good one. Do you have any suggestions?! I would greatly appreciate it. More than anything, I feel a big change coming in my relationship sector.
See the big change feeling as positive excitement. Sounds wonderful that the lines of communication are open between you and you are taking this next step together. While Mercury is Rx, think about how you LOVE living, what your perfect domestic life is like and envision it, with your partner. With Sagittarius in the 7th, you like plenty of ‘space’ so make sure that is part of your intention. No joining at the hip; Much mutual respect, fun and friendship!
interesting, i too have sag in the 7th/8th house and the day this article was posted i had just come to the decision to go visit my husband over seas early next year – ostensibly for closure (we separated 2 + bit yrs ago) but i have a gut feeling it will result in a reinforcement of the situation and no outward change…we are both saggi and the situation suits us fine although it seems to cause untold anxiety to others around us. lol
now that ive read this ill be looking into my ideal outcome and seriously setting that intention
love and light

Love that you are setting intentions for the outcomes you desire, Helena. Forget about what anyone else thinks or feels or says about your relationship. You decide! You’re the one living it, after all!
