Prep for an intense, magnetic and magical month the likes of you haven’t seen all year. It begins the Mercury turning retrograde on the 6th. Just think serendipity a la The Three Stooges. Seriously. You have to laugh, because there’s no point in crying over spilled milk. What there is a point in is being reflective, investigating your motives, asking what any ‘hang up’, slow down, snafu or hitch in the get-along is actually ACCOMPLISHING for you. At first you might want to shout ‘nothing!’ but I promise underneath it all is a message or desired results. Use this time wisely and find what lies beneath. It’s mostly in Scorpio after all. Dig deep!

Hint: Look to where 18 Scorpio and 4 Sagittarius is in you natal chart to hone you detective skills. What is the message there? (THIS –>video tutorial teaches you how to find your rising sign, or any house cusp or degrees in your natal chart)
Neptune direct on November 11th, a 0 Pisces, reanimates any projects or ideas started in February 2012. Take notes, think it through and be ready to sign contracts or launch exciting new creative kittens in December. No need to rush and try to ‘make it happen’ before then. No forcing it.
The Solar Eclipse on the 13th is the first eclipse of the month and highlights the 21st degree of Scorpio. Spot where that is in your chart so you can identify the house and aspects linked to this major celestial event. I’m devoting an entire call to the eclipses this month, so tune in for more details coming shortly. Basically this is a ‘super new moon’ and it’s going to be an amazing energy to set potent intentions for the future. You may not necessarily act on them immediately, but talk about pre-pave! Chiron turns direct the next day so cue up a fresh direction for something initiated back in June 2012 for maximum results.
Mars goes into Capricorn on the 16th, in the sign of his exaltation, a power position and resource for focused work and production. I love this! (but then, I have Mars in Cappy so it’s my once every two year Mars return, yay!)
Venus into Scorpio AND Sun into Sagittarius on the 21st lights a warm and friendly campfire, but things aren’t really going to flow super fast until Mercury turns Direct on the 26th (and I would make it more like early December, after the hot zone Lunar Eclipse on the 28th!) The snake will shed it’s skin! Note where 6 degrees of Gemini and Sagittarius is in your chart for clues of what, when, where and how to let go over this full moon eclipse. Big changes!

Big month indeed.
Merc retro in my 4th. Eclipse opposite my Venus but pretty much incorporating all my 10th house/Taurean stuff – and my Scorp NN! 3rd eclipse of the year to be in tight aspect to a personal planet. Plus Saturn square Mars and conjunct Uranus, Neptune beginning the end of its seemingly never-ending square to my Sun (hooray!), and Jupiter heading back to the square with my moon. Plus final PhD things to be addressed, my house getting sold, and my new life sans phd to get up and running/funded.
One day at time, with one eye on the future.
I will be very pleased once 2013 rolls around.
One day at a time, indeed, with powerful intentions set. Intense to the max! I get the feeling (with my Me Rx in 4th too) that we really loosen up on what those intentions are. Completely let go of the ‘how’ and create space for some spectacular change. (remind me of this in a few weeks, please!)

My Sagg Asc is @ 3 degrees and I have Uranus @ 18 Scorp, opposite my Sun and Chiron.
Deep breath. Tricksy times. Lots to be grateful for though.
Okay, so you have the full moon eclipse on your Asc, triggering the Mercury Rx point. Rethink the ‘big 4′, home, relationship, career, Self. Allow for revelations!

Hello Kim, I’ve been really looking forward to this post! This is the month I’ve been anticipating with some excitement…I feel very positive about it. Both eclipses are major for me – the solar eclipse conjunct my south node (23 degrees) and Neptune(19 degrees) is in the 6th house. My “Love interest” has Saturn at 20 degrees…The lunar eclipse is conjunct my ascendant (6 degrees) and Ceres/Juno are at 8 and 12 degrees respectively.
As for Mercury, it goes retrograde in 6th house, but only 2 degrees from my D.C. Then our Saturn/Neptune synastry conjunction gets highlighted again when it goes direct… I’ve posted before about our “Eros/Psyche” connections and how the relationship has played out just like that at times, so I’m wondering what the eclipse brings! Gut feeling is it’s a good, hefty shift into the sparkling new dawn.
Have felt shifts happening in primary relationships for a long time, and that it’s been steady progress of out with the old and in with the new, inner (emotional patterns)and outer (actual people). I’m expecting the eclipses to continue the theme…The snake’s been shedding and will continue to do so! It’s been hard but ultimately liberating and empowering. I may well join in your call this month as it’s such a big one for me.

You are super activated by the eclipses! Would be great to have you on the call. Like I said to ParsleyandSage, full moon eclipse on the horizon line is a huge shift in the ‘big 4′ – relationship – Self, career – home. A powerhouse of energy released!

it’s all in my 2nd House and Neptune resides at 18degrees of Scorpio in my natal chart. I wonder if it’s coincidental that somewhere in this period of time Anita Bell’s book, “Your Money: Starting Out and Starting Over” will arrive….:P

It starts in Sag it’s in my third house, right on my Sun with Mars nearby. Then back into Scorp in the second, all over natal Mercury and Venus and Neptune,

November’s New Moon/Solar Eclipse occurs at the EXACT SAME DEGREE (21°25′ Scorpio) at which Juno went direct back on July 17th. This NM Solar Eclipse is reflecting back to and spotlighting your Soul’s relationship/obsession in which you were immersed at that time.
Dec 28, 2011 Juno entered it’s shadow at 21°25′ Scorpio
Mar 25, 2012 Juno Rx 07°06′ Sagittarius
Jul 17, 2012 Juno Dx 21°25′ Scorpio
Oct 12, 2012 Juno exited it’s shadow at 07°06′ Sagittarius
There was also a major relationship conjunction at 25° Scorpio on Sep 12, 2012 between Juno, North Node, and Eros.
The Scorpio Mercury Rx activity this month will highlight these same relationship issues.

Hi Kim, this is very interesting and thank you for the information. Im just starting out in how to read my chart. I viewed my chart and i natally have 4 degrees of Sagg in the 10th with both Neptune and Mars sitting at 10 degrees, and I have my moon in Scorp in my 9th house. Do i look at this same chart for the Eclipse deets or is there a way of doing your chart for the actual event?

Good question, Alexandra. The best way to ‘see’ the eclipse in relationship to your natal chart is to print out a copy of your chart, or hand draw by copying it into a blank wheel, and then ‘plot’ the transiting planets (at the moment of the eclipse- see the ‘eclipse’ post, Nov 13, to get those positions) around the outer ring. So the Sun and moon of the solar eclipse would sit at 21 degrees Scorpio in the outer area of the 9th house in your natal chart, Pluto would be in Capricorn, Saturn 4 Scorpio etc. Stand by and I’ll do one up so you can see what I mean (this isn’t going to be hand drawn, but that’s very good practice when you are starting out.)

Caitlin, I put it in the post as a PS. You can see the natal chart of the Dalai Lama is the inner ring and the outer ring is the chart of the eclipse. The reason I encourage ppl to do them by hand is that writing out the transits and plotting them is the closest computer generation students will ever get to hand drawing a chart, and it’s so educational. You connect to the energy to the planets and signs by mapping them out, using the glyphs.
Thanks Kim, this is what I meant. Also, I totally agree that hand drawing is helpful, I confess to some resistance personally since my days as an astrology student,when we had to hand draw every chart for months,
I’m quite out of practice now, hence the uncertainty about synastry charts being suitable for events, thank you for the lovely example.
