Astro Flash: The sun goes into Pisces on the 18th of February, 2013.

Pisces highlights the the qualities of dissolving boundaries, sensitive intuition, artistic insight and faith in the unknown. It’s the cycle of longing and seeking for an experience of the divine, connection with all life. Communion. Enlightenment.
This longing is often fulfilled through creative inspiration, service, and self-healing that leads to the healing and teaching of others. Think mystical healer, inspired artist, saver of the planet. As a mutable water sign, energy is drawn from the surroundings, conducting and defusing quickly, and sometimes unpredictably.
In Gaelean astrology (see Quantum E books 1-7) Pisces is called the Fishes and links to reverence of all forms of life, the intuition and imagination. Magic. There is a dual rulership: Jupiter which gives expansiveness and dignity and Neptune which lends psychic sensitivity and compassion. The natural seat of Pisces/Fishes is the 12th house, the domain of the unconscious and service to those without a voice.
Where we find Pisces in the chart is where the mystical, poetic and compassionate side of the soul awakens. Here we can connect in ways that make life more beautiful, reverent and magical, and nurture those without a voice – animals, trees, children. Whether the gift is used or not can have a strong bearing on our peace of mind.
To welcome the Pisces vibe, engage in activities described by the house this sign falls in. Celebrate all the good things going on there! UPDATE about 2013 READINGS
IS Foundation
I feel like I’m getting cheated since I don’t have anything in half my chart. I’m not sure what that means.
http://www.astro.com/cgi/chart.cgi?rs=3;btyp=w2gw&nhor=1&cid=kf8filenEuQYz-u1361065745
Not cheated! Focused. Learn more about those patterns here: http://www.kimfalconer.com/chart_patterns.html You have a ‘bowl’ pattern and it means the focus is on the houses that are occupied. Your Pisces is in the 8th, which is Bliss for some things (and I don’t mean taxes!) Not cheated at all . . . .
Actually, Aquarius is my 8th, and Pisces is my 9th if I’m understanding this correctly. The 9 lines up with the Pisces symbol. New horizons, travel, beliefs and WWW. Interesting.
You’re right, Cherie, there is only half a degree of Pisces in your 8th. read the degrees wrong! You also have Pisces ruling your MC, or Midheaven at 29 degrees, so this, and Virgo, is your duplicated sign with all of Aries and all of Libra intercepted in the 4th and 10th. This is about expansion!
An inspiring post, Kim. Thanks. It’s really helping as a ‘pick-me-up’. From what, I don’t know. Was o’seas for a full 6 weeks & returned to an ‘empty world’ which I’m working on filling full, gradually.
I was told many years ago to understand as well as possible my north node, Pisces retrograde in my 5th house, as it’s where my direction lies in this life. I certainly have felt the Pisces principle strongly; also Neptune 16 degrees conjuncting Libra Sun, 8 degrees in my 12 house. I’m not sure how to Not attribute ‘qualities’, traits, tendencies to Neptune which perhaps ought to be attributed to Pisces…
Also, I had no idea that Jupiter as well as Neptune are “duel” rulers of Pisces. (I like the misspelling.)
Thanks for the correction! A Freudian slip I think
Yes there is dual rulership for Aquarius (Saturn and Uranus) Scorpio (Pluto and Mars) and Pisces (Sa/Ju) Western astrology was practiced for thousands of years using only planets visible to the naked eye. It’s quite recent that the newcomers (Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto – plus all the asteroids, centaurs and trans-Plutos) have been discovered . . .
The North Node is a symbol of ‘the path’ and finding ways to express it is, basically, walking it.
Thanks for dropping in!
‘Scuse my pendanticism here… (blame it on blurry boundaries)… joking.
I read in my horoscope in this weekend’s ‘Star’ (with focus on Mercury Rx transit/ in Pisces in my 6th house for a few wks) that it’s a time for me to focus on ‘the home’… ?!…
PS: I’ve wondered, once or twice, if your’e acquainted, Kim, with a tarot deck: “Celestial Tarot” by Kay Steventon and Brian Clark (U.S. Games Systems, Inc.
http://www.usgamesinc.com) ? Tho’ I’m of course not an astrologer, I find this deck, with its complex symbolism, in both text & illustration, to be v. useful ~ it’s in no way simplistic… I thought you’d relate to it.
Who write those, I wonder? I would say to focus on 6th house activities, and more aware in that area of life. Ask, what is it you want to ‘re-think’?
Wow, I love tarot cards. I use a traditional one myself, from Italy. Also Rider-Waite, and mythic.

These are beautiful.
Pisces is in my 8th house, which is empty. So 8th is ‘sex, death, taxes, shared resources, trust’ but I’m not sure how to interpret that with relation to the Pisces vibe?
I find it interesting that the 8th house has both sex and death in it, the creation-destruction cycle in one house. And then there’s shared resources and trust as well, trust is especially needed with shared resources.
You spotted it, Silver. Trust is one of the core values of the 8th house. What does sex and death and taxes all have in common? They are all areas of life where we give something up, and no matter what the government is like, who the partner is or what our belief system, that giving up is a leap in the dark. An unknown. The only way to experience it is to take a leap in the dark. How do we do that? We trust.
The key to the 8th house is trust, and to experience ‘out there’, we have to experience it with ourselves.
Pisces say to trust in the unknown. It’s about letting go of control (in Scorpio’s natural house which can be all about holding on to it!) and floating downstream.
What can you relax with and fully float down stream, letting the currents talk you away? Can you do that when it comes to your connections with others?
I’ve got Pisces in the 7 & 8th, so I’m asking myself these questions too!
Thanks for posting and and bringing this up!
Your reply to Silver is of value to me too, Kim. Perhaps ’cause my ascendant’s Scorpio. The death/rebirth/renewal ‘principle’/cycle/ is vital, surely, to all of us.
Leo rising club, and I thus also have the 7th and 8th through Pisces. Along with trust I tend to think of sharing and intimacy as 8th house things. I have my moon in Pisces/8th as well, square Neptune and sextile Jupiter.
This squishy moon is such a contrast to the ‘hard’ Mars/Saturn rising and Gemini sun. There’s definitely some shielding action going on there, although there is no aspect between the Sun/Asc sextile and the moon.
Good old Neptune square all my Taurus/Gemini things has really showed that up. Mars/Saturn rising haven’t enjoyed it that much.
could you kindly provide a link or site that I might be able to have my chart prepared?? I had one years ago, but an ex did not support my interest, hence it became fire starter….thanks & many blessings!!
