Some of you already marry up the powerful arts of astrology and deliberate creation.

(Hats off to you, powerful creators!)

But for those of you who this might be foreign to, here are six ways astrology can amp up your manifesting game:

1. Harness planetary energy. Everything vibrates – including you, me, our thoughts and all those beautiful planets.

How do those universal bodies affect your vibration?  And how can you use those energies to benefit your manifesting?

All it takes is some basic astrology knowledge to get more bang for your focusing buck.  You’ll find it makes all the difference in the world when you work with planetary cyclical energy, rather than ignoring it.

2.  Get a better handle on contrast.  When things seem to be going sideways, it can help to spot the star movements involved and understand the ‘message in the madness’.  (Just seeing transformation ahead, and the core purpose of it all, can bring relief in the present moment!)

3.  Find reasons to believe. When we can see how the stars are lining up to support what we want, it makes it even easier to believe in our success.  And belief and expectation are big parts of the LOA game.

When I saw Jupiter moving into my tenth house, my LOA-friendly interpretation was that this was the time my professional platform really wanted to grow.  It was no time to play it small – and seeing that energy made me braver in honoring bold work inspirations. What a difference that made!

4.  Enhance self love. It is nearly impossible to study your natal chart without falling in love with yourself.  You’ll see all your complexities and quirks that make you uniquely you.  Since the world can only reflect how we feel about ourselves, self love is a helpful vibe to amplify.

5.  See others from the eyes of God/Source. We’re co-creating the others in our lives based on how we think about and know them.  So finding a way to see them in their highest light allows you to experience the best they have to offer.  Astrology is a powerful way to tap into another’s best self.  (Not to mention that knowing my partner is a triple Virgo helps me cut him lots of slack when he tends to criticize instead of appreciate.)

6.  Identify and leverage your best LOA power tools. Your personal astrology inclines you to certain manifesting gifts.  Once you know them, you can take full conscious advantage of them.  (Example, my Libra sun makes it easy for me to see other points of view, and thus to be more flexible in how I perceive reality.  Which is why I’m so good at leveraging Abraham’s advice to “see ‘what is’ in a way that pleases you.”)

With the New Moon in Gemini comes fresh ides, insights and of course, a powerful backdrop to set new intentions. It also falls into the ‘Libra decanate’ of Gemini, meaning that one plus another makes for bigger, better and most outstanding ideas. You don’t want to sit this one out alone. Gemini says TALK, and this new moon is all about the conversation.

Even more than usual, conversations over the next few days will bring change, and transformation.

How can brainstorm conversations bring about change?

4. Conversation enhances shared meaning, strengthening our connection to, and resolve toward, authentic change.
5. Conversations reinforces a healthy living system, boosting understanding, self-acceptance, respect, reflection and love.

When we are in brainstorming conversations – any talk that opens the mind to new possibilities – the messenger of the gods, Mercury, is in flight. The experience itself is an externalization of growing neuropathways in the brain, and those new roads lead straight to a more expanded life.

How to enhance this process?

Awareness. Notice the open fields of possibility. Notice the expansion. Appreciate it as you linger there in reverence.

To amp this process up even more, look to where 18 degrees of Gemini is in your natal chart and immerse yourself in the environment of that house. Not sure how to find the degrees of the house cusps? June begins with a Pisces Moon conjunct Neptune, a dreamy, intuitive, introverted time. Thinking is lateral, right brain, if the mind engages at all. It’s a great week for meditation, walks in nature, dozing by sea or conjuring up your next creative project. Please don’t focus on taxes, bookkeeping or business plans. They can wait. Venus moves into Cancer on the 3rd and by June 4th there is a grand trine between Mercury in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. Creative imagination rules. Walk on water.

On the 7th, Neptune in Pisces turns retrograde and will be at 5 Pisces all month. Be sure and join Jeannette Maw and myself on our monthly free call at GoodVibeAstrology.com. We’ll be talking about both Neptune and Mercury Rx June 11th. Check the calendar for times in your zone. On the 8th Mars is over the recent eclipse point. Watch for action then! New Moon at 18 degrees of Gemini is on the 9th, so set your intentions for the manifestations you are after in your Gemini house. Think carefree, witty, curious and in need of a lot of stimulation. Very sexy!

Mid-month is the sun approaching the conjunction with Jupiter (exact on the 20th), a mind expanding, opportunistic time. Boost confidence, get outside and play! By the 22nd, the sun is over the 0 Degree Aries Point at zero Cancer. Launch rockets of intentions then, and focus on a day of nurturing your desires. The Full Moon in Capricorn is on the 23rd. Check which house is activated by 2 degrees of this cardinal sign to know where the focus is.

Another grand trine occurs again at the end of the month, on the 26th with Sun 5 Cancer, Saturn 4 Scorpio 55 and Neptune still at 5 Pisces. A romantic week to appreciate the real love, support and beauty in your life! Count all blessings. Mercury turns retrograde on the 27th at 23 Cancer. The Full Moon Eclipse is on May 24th – 25th, lining up the Nodes in Taurus – Scorpio and Moon opposite Sun in Gemini – Sagittarius. It is the last in the series of the Gemini-Sagittarius family of eclipses, for the next 9+ years. Think back to the beginning of this cycle, June 1, 2011. What was started then is coming to fruition, completion, transformation. Celebrate every single bit of it!

LUNAR (FULL MOON) ECLIPSE
@ 4 SAGITTARIUS May 24 – 25
LA – Fri – 9:10 – PM
NY – Sat – 12:10 AM
LON – Sat – 5:10 AM
SYD – Sat – 2:10 PM

Note: the  opposition is complete +14 minutes past times given eclipse times.

There are several planets joining in on this eclipse, contributing their energy to the mix. Neptune (enchantment) is number one, followed by Mars (action), Uranus (surprise), Chrion (audacity) and Saturn (work). But Neptune is dominant! Think dreamy, ethereal, mystical, romantic, whimsical, deceptive notions meshed with longings for ‘oneness’ AND a bolt of electricity from Mars/Uranus with a dose of clarity from Saturn. What Chiron brings might be the ability to see through the mask and learn something new about one’s self. To get the most benefit from the ecclipse, we have to tune in. Whatever elicits more awareness, meditation, nature, animals, gardening, music, painting, the sea, novels, sex, weight training, baking cookies . . . do more of that.

Remember, Neptune forms a T-Square to the Moon opposite Sun, possibly clouding issues for a few days. There’s no need to make snap decisions right now. Give the dust time to settle. Eclipses are felt 3 days before to 3 days after the ‘event’, and also can be strong 30 days before and 30 days after (+- 3 days).

ARIES/Eclipse in the 9th house: Whatever emotions rise to the surface at this time you will want room to process them. Avoid small spaces! This isn’t the best energy for intimacy if the other is needy. Get out into the wilds and celebrate the feeling of freedom (it’s a state of mind). Make bold new plans for the future.

TAURUS/Eclipse in the 8th house: Resources gained and shared, loaned or borrowed can become the arena for inner growth. The key is to not fall into the illusion that this has anything to do with money or finances. Get to the core of what $$ represents to you. Is it power? Security? Control? Step back for better perspective.

GEMINI/Eclipse in the 7th house: The eclipse is heating up your house of relationship, be it partner, agent, lover, counselor, client. What ever buried treasures you have resting with these people, they will bubble up to the surface. Same goes for any fears. Best approach: Catch, sort, keep, release as you see fit.

CANCER/Eclipse in the 6th house: It’s easy to get over focused on the path, the plan, the goal, the outcome. You might even have become so immutable that you don’t notice the detour, a lovely turn of events pulling you in a new direction. Put down the mop and open your eyes to the life that is beckoning.

LEO/Eclipse in the 5th house: The door to your creativity is opening and how you respond is going to determine what comes next. Are you seeing with judgment, critiquing your creations, or are you lavishing them with support and appreciation, no matter how humble the beginnings. Which do you think works best?

VIRGO/Eclipse in the 4th house: This eclipse is a bit like holding a stick of dynamite in one hand and a match in the other. Potentially explosive, but you do get to decide how this is going to go. Think twice before pushing others or pressing for answers. Everything that comes up now is an inside job. Inside.

LIBRA/Eclipse in the 3rd house: The mind is a buzz of energy and ricocheting thoughts. There is so much to express, you may not make a lot of sense until you let ‘em have it. In other words, much can be gained by giving a few particular people an update on how you really feel. Blast! They can take it!

SCORPIO/Eclipse in the 2nd house: It might seem like issues of money, support or the next best step is what’s being discussed, but actually, no. Nothing like that. What’s up is really to do with personal values and feelings of worth and empowerment. Remember, its never about $, but what it represents.

SAGITTARIUS/Eclipse in the 1st house: This eclipse is about you and your authenticity. Self-awareness. Self-awakening. Self-actualization. Are you seeing a pattern here? I believe more than ever it’s time for us to let go of what hasn’t worked, to be willing to release old habits and expectations, and allow ourselves to be more of who we really are. -Jeannette Maw

CAPRICORN/Eclipse in the 12th house: You are linked more by the dreamy allure of this moon than others so set aside some time to muse. It’s not always about accomplishments that can be weighed and measured with a stick. Sometimes it’s about expressing with the soul, through visuals, sound and touch.

AQUARIUS/Eclipse in the 11th house: Goals for the future are up for reassessment but it might be time to use different criteria. Task #1 – find out what you’re afraid of. Task #2 – discover where that story came from. Task # 3 – let go of the old story and start telling a new one, with all your heart.

PISCES/Eclipse in the 10th house: The eclipse in your career sector puts the light on achievement, but that’s only half the story. Yes, it’s time for results and those can be absolutely wonderful. But what matters is how you feel once you reach the prize. Find the core of what success means to you, and create more of that!

ASTRO-LOA FLASH: New Moon in Taurus is close enough to the south lunar node to bring a solar eclipse – the second in the series of our NEW family of eclipses, the Taurus – Scorpio cycle. This is a time where intentions, pre-paving and saying it as you want it to be will have profound effect.

Astro-LOA Flash:  Venus glides once again into the airy, free spirited, intellectual sign of Gemini, giving us a lift when it comes to our powers of attraction. Following Jupiter, and asteroid 896 Sphinx, she catches up to them at the end of May where a meeting of the minds will transform perceptions. Don’t be surprised if you have to solve a riddle to move forward!

Venus, now our evening star, is a symbol of the powers of attraction. She rules love (epithemia), sex, affection and sensual pleasure, and also what we value aesthetically and artistically. Where Venus resides is where we can attract naturally, where we can win others over to our side. It also depicts a desire for relatedness, not so much for the sake of merging but for the determination of deeper values. Through one-to-one relationship, personal values are identified, refined and adjusted.

10 to 19 Gemini 59: Gemini/Libra The second decan combines Venus’ sensuality and social grace with the flexibility and curiosity of Gemini. It wants to play and share! Repetition and  routine is the nemeses, so amp up interactions-intimate and artistic connections. Likes to partner.

20 to 29 Gemini 59: Gemini/Aquarius The Saturn/Uranus decan of Gemini increases the need to express healthy ambition without getting trapped or over burdened. Super autonomous and freedom loving. Zany. Stimulation is vital and so are group projects or contacts with like-minded friends.

Welcome to the Season of the Eclipse, everyone!

May opens in the calm before the revelation as Mercury enters the sign of Taurus. It’s a VERY short stay and you’re going to want to tune into your ‘Taurus House(s)’ to see what’s being triggered rapid fire. (Really, the messenger of the gods is traveling double time, two degrees a day!) Though in the steady, methodical, cool sign of Taurus, you can expect news flashes in the first half of the month. Most likely they’ll be around practical things like survival, $$, work, sex, food, you know, the basics. Heads up! By the end of week one, there will be five planets and the south node in the sign of the Bull. This is where you deal with that area of life. No exceptions. Back to the eclipses. We are in the zone – three eclipses in 30 days! The lunar eclipse on April 25th started us off with the full moon in Scorpio. This marks the beginning of the shift of eclipse pairs from Gemini-Sagittarius to Taurus – Scorpio, something we haven’t experienced in nine years. The next eclipse in the season is May 9th, a solar, or new moon, eclipse at 19 Taurus.

Again, look to where you have this degree in your chart (ask for help if you get stumped) because that’s where you want to get your life correct, set new intentions and tune in to some sensual pleasure. This is Taurus, after all. If a little’s good, a lot is better. Seriously, play in some earthly delights, for the goddess’s sake! Speaking of the goddess, Venus shifts into the sign of Gemini just before the eclipse on the 9th. It’s ultra social, playful, zesty, flirtatious and carefree. Diarize yourself some time for this too! By mid-May, Mercury moves into the home sign of Gemini and the long ongoing Uranus – Pluto square will be exact again.(11 Aries square 11 Capricorn) This is where contrast is showing you what you really want so that you can break out of limiting beliefs, experiences and situations and recreate the life you desire. It’s a breakdown to breakthrough energy that’s working as your ally to shift stubborn resistance. To the degree that you can, allow, let go and allow some more. When reality feels like a brick wall, shift your focus on a dime. You totally can do this!

May 20th is the ingress of sun into Gemini giving us four planets in this sign with an elemental shift to AIR. Think more objective, breezy, curious, social and spacious. It’s going to help with a new perspective, I promise. On the 24th is the third of three eclipses, the final one in the Gemini-Sagittarius family for nearly a decade. The Gem – Sag sector in your chart will indicate where the pressure comes off. This eclipse pulls in Neptune so it can be crazy magical-creative-romantic (with an emphasis on crazy) or it can get downright slippery. On the last day of the month, Mercury moves from Gemini to Cancer (note the quicksilver god has been in THREE signs in three weeks. Thoughts, perspectives and consciousness shifts expected! Mars also moves into Gemini on the 31st making everyone more communicative, or at lease, desirous of being heard.

The key things to remember are: New Moon Eclipse on the 9th, set intentions in your Taurus house (what that area of life means to you). Mid-month, note the exact Uranus/Pluto square. This is a long term transformation. Stay positive and release resistance. (rule of thumb:  if it hurts, you’re resisting). May 24th, Full Moon Eclipse at 4 Sagittarius. Think of this as a release point. What is it you are ready to set free so that you can expand, explore and become more of who you are?

Recently I listened to a GVU call by relationship coach Lisa Hayes. It was part of her series on Dating in the Vortex and focused on Lisa’s “two list” approach to attracting new or improved love.

Since this is the topic of our upcoming three call series at GVA, I thought to revisit these ideas here.

On the call, Lisa read us a client’s LONG list of her ideal date. It was as detailed as a Briggs-Myers personality test, only more personal and included a CV, physical traits, emotional responses to a wide range of situations, minimum bank balance etc. etc. The only thing missing was Sun, Moon and Ascendant sign and of course, Venus and Mars! (None of us do that, right?)

Lisa’s point – specifics might actually be limiting if we aren’t listing how we want to feel. (who cares what their annual income is, make model and car registration # and favorite restaurant if we aren’t feeling the love?)

This example got me thinking about list making altogether, especially when it involves another person.  Isn’t that conditional love?  The thought of someone ticking off my appearances, traits, IQ and emotional responses feels . . . odd. Actually, it’s kinda creepy.

Are we missing the point of relationship when we preordain what the ‘other’ must be like?

Maybe, but don’t get me wrong. Lists are valuable. They tell us things about ourselves. For example, if I make a my new sweetie (MNS) list and it goes like this: MNS is rich, smart, funny, gorgeous, adventurous, independent, fit, must love cats . . . what does this say about me?

It says, I want to be rich, smart, funny, gorgeous, adventurous, independent, fit and surrounded by cats. The list is never about ‘them’. It’s about us, and when we get that, we can stop ‘needing’ others to be x,y or z, and be that ourselves. Then, we enjoy the new sweetie for who they are.  Period.

Besides showing us what we want to become, the MNS list can point out why we want what it is we want. Armed with that knowledge we can get to the feeling place now, before MNS shows up. Does everyone know the “why do I want that” exercise? It’s so insightful.

1) Start with a current desire. It might be I want to date a man with $$$. Underneath that statement ask, why do I want that? It might go like this:

I want to date a man with $$$

Why do I want that?

So I don’t have to pay for everything myself

Why do I want that?

So someone besides me steps up for a change

Why do I want that?

So I feel special

And there it is. In this case, I don’t give a hoot about their bank account. What I really want is to feel special. And this is an inside job. As Ean Begg says, When we stop expecting other people to fulfill us, we can begin to fulfill ourselves. Does that leave the door open for true relationship, or what?

The other great thing about the MNS list is, it tunes our radar for new possibilities. If I say my sweetie is generous, kind, hot, funny, smart, sporty etc I’m cuing my unconscious that these things do exist! Like they say, I’ll see it when I believe it, and the list helps me believe. For those who think relationships suck, or that men/women are untrustworthy, lists can help shift the vibe to a better feeling place.

Call 2: By looking at the basic premise, like attracts like, well see how to spot what we’re signaling when it comes to our love life! From there we’ll follow the threads of the natal chart, exploring planets of sex, desire, passion and libido and find specific ways to debug, unkink, activate and align the best love life vibe possible. The secrets to fulfillment, and boosting our powers of attraction, are in the natal chart, and step by step, we’ll unravel them, along with any limiting beliefs. There will be time for examples and questions on the call and on the Sex Secrets – what your astrology can tell you course forum. Homework will be given in prep for call #3.

Call 3: Here’s where we put it all together, adding to the astrological and LOA tools introduced to bring full awareness to sexual desire, passion and expression.
