The Merry Month of May swings into action with the Full Moon in Scorpio on the 3rd/4th. It has a bit of a sting! Think of it as a powerhouse time of transformation where you face inner landscapes of the past an have the choice to reignite or release. Anger could be involved, which is your personal, internal body guard. Remember that. You may not need quite so much protection anymore.

This is a passionate moon, one that could propel you over perceived obstacles, or have you brooding about them. You decide. Moon is sextile ruling Pluto, opposite ruling Mars. You have untold creative power and energy. Use it as you will.

Technical Note: The fixed full moon is in the second decanate of Scorpio, which is Pisces, linking the energy of Mars/Pluto (Scorpio rulers) and Jupiter/Neptune (Pisces rulers). With a T-Square between Sun, Moon and Jupiter, and the trine to Neptune added into the mix, we are definitely looking at an emotional ride. As my friend Mystic Medusa always says, you can go haute Pisces or Lo Pisces, and for this lunar event, it couldn’t be more true. Decide if you want to be compassionate or conniving before hand, and stick to it! This FM also activates the Uranus-Pluto square, still in close orb. The watch word is change.

Full Moon @13 Scorpio May 3rd/4th
LA – Sunday – 08:43 pm
NY – Sunday – 11:43 pm
LON – Monday – 04:43am
SYD – Sunday –  01:43 pm

On the 7th, Venus moves into Cancer and trines Neptune, an aspect that brings care, empathy and gentle willingness to nurture. Most likely this will soften the edges of the Full Moon but don’t mistake kindness for weakness. This is a cardinal sign, with a strong emotional push. Venus here wants to take actions, ones that will enhance a sense of clan and security. It’s a perfect time to tune into your ideas of family, love and caring. Are you fulfilled, or needing something more, or different?

Mars into Gemini on the 11th is a flirty, vivacious, playful energy, though it’s honed into a serious point as it opposes Saturn, and activates the Saturn – Neptune square. This means there’s a drive to release old, crystallized patterns, and the ability to make leaping creative change, if we look inward. Without self awareness, this laser focus can be pointed at others. If you find yourself listing people’s faults left, right and center, ask what that list has to do with you.

Remember, like attracts like. Use that knowledge to flow inspired action. This is a wonderful opportunity to “be the better person.” It seems like a lot of homework to do, all in the first two weeks but if you put awareness on your actions and desires and the inner drives that motivate them, you’ll find the Mercury Retrograde period a breeze.

New Moon in Taurus on the 17th, opposite Saturn has a thoughtful vibe. If you are ready to pitch a well organized project or idea that you have build solid from the ground up and discussed in detail prior, excellent. But if you’re about to shoot from the hip, or go in blind, hit the pause button. Success comes with a well thought out plan. See Monthly New Moon scopes for tips (up by the 15th).

Mercury turns Rx on the 18th in the home sign of Gemini. You want to use this energy to revisit your old stories. What is it you keep telling yourself about your life? Is it helpful or unhelpful? If it’s the latter, take time to release the old pattern and script yourself a NEW STORY about whatever’s not going right. Home, family, love, money, career? Tell a new story. No time could be better for this exercise than the Mercury Rx period, between May 18th and June 11th. Rethink, rewrite, restore.

Technical Note: Go to the house(s) where Mercury is Rx and focus your review and renew practice there. Jeannette Maw, the Good Vibe Coach has tips for Story Crafting in Manifesting. It’s a fabulous practice, especially for the time of Mercury Rx.

Sun into Gemini on the 21st is more AIR – bright, communicative, flexible and flirtatious energy, though again, it’s coming off an opposition to Saturn and activating the Saturn – Neptune square. If you are working on a long-term project that lights you up, and feeds your creative muse, this could be a time of fresh input and help out of the blue. If you’re slaving away in a job you don’t like or a relationship that feels unfulfilled, the shift to Gemini will be the ray of light in the pigsty. If so, USE it to plan your healthy, optimistic change. You have a choice, and that begins by thinking yourself up a better story.

The month winds down with Mercury Rx on Sun and Mars, which might feel like both the tortoise and the hare have fallen asleep. Don’t panic; chill. This in not the time to measure or weigh anything up. Don’t look at states, or check emails, phone messages or answering machines. Breathe. Relax. Find ease. The egg will hatch if you keep incubating. Cracking it early isn’t going to help the cause.

Patience in the time of Gemini, everyone!

I’d love to hear your thoughts and comments as the month unfolds. Let’s work on those new stories!

xxxKimmy

Notes on Uranus – the Great Awakener

Awakening

Awakening by Maja Sommersted

I’m posting the notes for the Transform with Transits call here as a few people where having trouble downloading them. This is all basic info on Uranus, to get us started.

Think of Uranus as one of the most exciting planets to work with in deliberate creation as this is where we blast through glass ceilings and break out of limiting beliefs! It’s insanely powerful energy!

Uranus has an eccentric orbit between Saturn and Neptune, taking 84 years to make one complete journey around the sun (on complete journey through the Zodiac). He rules Aquarius and is exalted in Scorpio.

He spends 7 years in each sign (where we get the saying, “the 7 year itch,” and represents a desire for freedom, independence, individuation, originality, eccentricity, unconventionality, and the relentless breaking out of fixed cultural and social paradigms.

Basically, he’s a rebellion waiting to happen, and he doesn’t wait long.

He rules all things sudden, unexpected, erratic and unpredictable.

Being slow moving, the house position is very important as it will be more personal. The sign shows is nature of our individuality, our drive for uniqueness, and the way we break free of limitations and cultural restraints. The house shows where we experience unexpected changes and the chance to grow as an individual. It’s where things tend to get ‘weird’.

Uranus has a very extreme orbit, the tilt of the axis being so extreme (see image below) it alternates between periods of 21 years of night in the northern hemisphere (21 years of day in the south, with 21 years of more normal night and day (no doubt the model for George R R Martin’s world building in Game of Thrones) . . .  It’s all in the tilt of the axis.

The natal position of Uranus tells us where we can be “night and day”, individualistic, nonconforming, high-spirited and inventive (and sometimes radical, willful and detached). Aspects to Uranus bring these qualities out and you can imagine that the mix more harmoniously with, say Mars than they do with Moon or Venus.

By transit, Uranus Awakens. This energy coincides with changing the status quo, blasting us through glass ceilings, limitations and ruts. It’s a renewal and when we are open to change, its powerfully transformational.

It’s also powerfully transformational when we resist change, but the sensations are more of disruption that thrill. It’s all in how we perceive the energy! There is a fine line with Uranus between eccentric and unstable.

Note: If you want to see quickly were a client is feeling stuck, burdened or limited, note where Saturn is by transit. If you want to see where life is changing, throwing up radical new challenges, look to Uranus. Just spotting the houses these planets are transiting, and looking to the natal to see how comfortable they are with these containing and releasing energies can identify their biggest key to getting life on track. We build with Saturn, releasing old limitations/stories, and we awaken and evolve with Uranus, freeing up the past and setting new goals.

Remember: Uranus is the great awakener. Flow with the energy for the highest results!

‘Her Only Friend the Moon’ by Alexander Jansson

Full Moon Eclipse (see times below) is nigh! This is a point of release, expiation, where old emotions are purged, projects completed, plans come to fruition. Think back to Nov 1993 and the six months after for hints as to what may come to light.

LUNAR ECLIPSE @6 GEMINI
LA – Wednesday – 06:46
NY – Wednesday – 9:46
LON – Wednesday – 14:46
SYD – Thursday – 01:46

The intensity of the days surrounding the event depend on where in your chart the eclipse takes place (and how willing you are to feel you feelings!) and if there are any personal planets linked. Find the houses were 6 degrees of Gemini and Sagittarius are and ask, what is ripe for harvest here? What can I express? How can I move forward? You decide!

Note also that Mars (god of war) is conjunct Pluto (god of death) in Capricorn (form and structure). Note where 8 Capricorn is in your chart as well. What’s transforming there?

Comments? Thoughts? Feel free to share them here!

Warrior Full Moon

The full moon in Aries is wild, rapacious, willful and seductive. If that sounds like a love interest in a paranormal romance novel, I’ve hit the mark. Really, this is along the lines of Vampires Gone Wild (and that’s not because I’ve just finished writing a novella for this Feb 2013 release!) Well, maybe a little . . .

Why so wild? In three words, Cardinal T-Square! This is a configuration that links Moon conjunct Uranus (breakout the repressed emotions and purge) opposite Sun (put some consciousness and power in it) square Pluto (deep, primal transformations and eruptions). You can see, this is were any sub-personalities repressed in the basement are going to break their chains and come blasting through the floorboards. It’s so creative!

Think of it as your chance to ALLOW your denied feelings and thoughts a presence and RELEASE them. (Part two – release them) is as important as part one! See Notes on Deliberate Creator Denial and also check out my thoughts on Vampire Evolution while we’re on the topic, just in case you are about to ‘release the Krakan’.) If you have any Cardinal Sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) planets near the 7 degree mark (0  – 15) pay extra attention to all the messages, synchronicities and encounters you attract this weekend! Hints and tips below.

FULL MOON @7 ARIES
L.A. – Saturday – 20:20
NEW YORK – Saturday – 23:20
LONDON – Sunday – 04:20
SYDNEY – Sunday – 13:20

AriesARIES: The warrior awakens in the heart of your relationships. Whatever you’ve been sitting on, holding back or denying in the realm of intimacy and union is going to erupt full force. See this as a release of pressure and a chance to get yourself correct. ie authentic. Ride the wave to a new shore.

TaurusTAURUS: While others swirl and dip and dive around you, find a quiet sanctuary where you can release the old and embrace the new. This might be a quiet stream or woods, a kitchen garden or perhaps the peace engendered by immersing in ritual routine like de-cluttering, cooking, walking the dogs. Find peace.

GeminiGEMINI: This Full Moon is going to rock your creative world. Tell me you have an outlet! Throw yourself full force into your artistry and allow the daemons to escape the confines of your mind. Put them down on canvas, paper, craft and feel the Muse rushing through you. A friend turns out to be wonderful support.

CancerCANCER: Pan is in your sign and triggering this lunation. That means the four pillars of life are up for examination: Self awareness, home and family, career, relationship. Is there balance and accord in these areas of life? Use the wild and daring energy to shift old patterns, release grudges and invite new thoughts.

LeoLEO: A restless Full Moon has you pacing the floors. Get out! Get moving! Find ways to burn adrenaline (run, swim, sport, spar, gallop, adventure, explore)! You’ll feel cooped up and cranky if you don’t. Stimulate the mind as well with lively debate, foreign films and new concepts. The more you open, the more you evolve.

VirgoVIRGO: This is not the weekend for nutting out financial concerns or laying down the law re other people’s debts or obligations UNLESS you have not been able to express your truth. In that case, you cut through all the strings with clarity and strength. Meanwhile, appreciate what is going right in your life. Refresh!

LibraLIBRA: This is your birthday Full Moon, poised to get you up on your high horse and out into the world. Heed the call to freedom as you ride undaunted by the past, others expectations or your own fears or doubts. There is strength and conviction in the air. Tap into it, lift your sights and head for the horizon! Wild one!

ScorpioSCORPIO: All the little details of life could get tangled around your feet, tripping you up if you’re unaware. The trick is to SEE things working out exactly as you want them to even before they show signs of compliance. There is only one person directing these events and that person is you. Use your voice!

SagittariusSAGITTARIUS: The most romantic weekend in ages IF you clear the air and let go of limiting beliefs. This doesn’t need an audience and actually works best when happening in the privacy of your own mind. Lift your thoughts, hone your awareness and be willing to see with new eyes. Once set, you are in for the time of your life!

CapricornCAPRICORN: The tug-o-war between home life and career, mission, profession is about amplify unless you get out your sword and cut the Gordian Knot. Slice through the ‘shoulds’ ‘cant’s’ and ‘don’ts’ until you are down to the pure awareness of your own truth. This is where your choices stem from. Choose empowerment, every time.

AquariusAQUARIUS: If you’re concerned you might let the cat out of the bag this weekend, consider it premonition. There is something on your mind and bottling it up is not going to get you further along the path. Use this potent energy to speak your truth, stake your claim and rewire your mind for better living. Now!

piscesPISCES: If this Full Moon has you focused on money and finances, take a deep breath and dive a little deeper. What talent or resource do you have that’s aching for development. THAT’s where you want to muse, welcoming the daydream of living more of your life to the fullest. It all begins with a thought, a new intention!

Have a wonderful Full Moon everyone! MWAHs xxxKim
